Workshop: Religion and Socioeconomic Human Rights in a time of global migration

2017-06-20

Religion and Socioeconomic Human Rights in a time of global migration is the title of an international workshop held in Uppsala, December 6-9, 2017.

Hosted by CRS, the workshop brings together scholars of sociology of religion, sociology, practical theology and religious education around the complex relations between young peoples’ attitudes toward human rights, with special reference to socioeconomic rights, and attitudes toward religion. Members of an international project on these matters dealing with a survey among young people come together around fresh results along with experts of ethics, law and youth studies from Uppsala. Parts of the workshop will be open to the public and the program will be posted on the website in due course.
