By air to Stockholm Arlanda airport
Stockholm Arlanda airport is the nearest airport with easiest access to Uppsala.
Direct bus number 801 takes 45 minutes and departs every half hour from Arlanda terminal 2-3, 4, 5 to Uppsala. Departure times: 04.11, 04.41, 05.11 etc. until 01.04.
The direct train “SL Pendeltåg” takes 18 minutes and departs from Arlanda central railway station to Uppsala 05.16 and 05.46 etc. until 23.46. The bus to Uppsala costs 110 SEK and the SL train 150 SEK.
Tickets for the bus can be bought at ticket machines in advance or by credit card on the bus. Tickets for train must be bought in advance at ticket machines or ticket office at terminal 5.
